This unit is in great condition however is missing two knobs which can be ordered from the manufacturer.  Auction includes the unit itself, power supply and a 130 page manual on a compact disk.

The Roland BR-8 is an 8 track digital recorder that includes built-in digital effects.  It is capable of recording 2-tracks at a time.  It's capable of playing back 8 tracks which are mixed to a stereo output. Some of the effects include reverb, chorus, multi-effects mode and COSM guitar amp modeler.  It includes a dedicated guitar input and you have complete access to the effects and COSM guitar amp modelers.

The unit also has a built-in tuner which is very handy for guitarists.  It has a large LCD interface that allow easy access to the menu via the navigation buttons on top of the unit.  The menu uses an icon based system that is very intuitive to work with.  You may not have to even open the manual to do basic recording and playback. But of course reading the manual is suggested to get to the a variety of useful features and functions.

There are 8 faders one for each channel, and another for the master stereo output fader. The effects are chosen via the ICON based interface depending upon what instrument you are recording/playing.
