radios are ultra compact (4.5" x 2.5" x 1.2") and lightweight (11 oz.)
using popular professional FM business frequencies for clear, reliable
communication. They are rugged, durable and include a nicad battery pack,
plug-in charger, antenna, spring-action belt clip. Standard features
include Motorola's Interference Eliminator to prevent hearing other users
on the same channel, an audio jack to connect the optional headset/mic or
external speaker/mic and built-in "Voice Assist" to help users program the
frequency and Interference Eliminator settings. A charged battery powers
the radio 8-12 hours based on average use.
1-watt, 1-channel VHF radio for in-building coverage up to 150,000 square
feet or up to 8 floors or outdoors up to 4 miles in flat, open areas with
no obstructions.
