great camcorder and one of Sony's best, it is thin and tall and has a
small shape and includes a 2.5-inch color LCD screen. It has a
Fire Wire port that allows for good digital copies and digital editing.
The Sony camcorders have great battery times. You can get batteries that
run 10-12 hours on the camcorder which is great if you’re going to be
shooting a long event. The PC100 includes the 0-Lux night shot feature,
which allows you to shoot video when it’s dark outside. Although many
features on today’s camcorders are just frill and useless, the night
shot feature is useful. The night shot video, although green in color,
functions and is presentable. The PC100 includes a Carl Zeis lens, one
of the best lenses out there, which results in a great quality picture.
The PC100 captures still pictures confined in resolutions as high as
1152 x 864. It proceeds to store them on Sony's memory stick media and
the camcorder comes with a serial port memory stick reader. You can
easily download those pictures to a PC. However, we have included with
this package, as you'll see in the list below, a more convenient USB
memory stick reader which functions without the cumbersome power supply.
The camcorder has analog, which is a great feature for dubbing your old
VHS to long- lasting Digital Video.
